An immersive music experience at SNFCC by dsevents.

When mystery meets music, and cinema meets the stage — the result is an experience beyond the ordinary.

On a warm Athenian night, under the dome of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, we dove deep into the surreal, enigmatic universe of David Lynch.

dsevents was proud to produce this one-of-a-kind live show — a tribute to the haunting soundscapes, dreamy melodies, and poetic darkness that define Lynch’s cinematic world.

A Journey Between Reality and Dream

The night opened with actor Alkis Bakogiannis, guiding the audience into the labyrinth of Lynch’s imagination through a spoken word prologue — a poetic introduction to what was to follow.

The musical direction, curated by George Zervos, brought together a phenomenal ensemble of artists who performed iconic tracks from Lynch’s filmography. From Julee Cruise’s "Falling" (Twin Peaks), to Roy Orbison’s “In Dreams” (Blue Velvet), and Elvis Presley’s “Love Me” (Wild At Heart), each performance was a dreamlike passage through cinematic memory.

The stage came alive with performances by: Alexandra Sieti, Anduze, Archangel, George Zervos, Dimitris Kapouranis, Nefeli Bravaki, Niki Bravaki, Filippos Glee (Polyphonic Ensemble), Panos Dimitropoulos, Rosanna Mailan, Rosey Blue, and Voúdris.

On stage, an eclectic group of musicians — George Zervos (musical direction, guitar, vocals) Orestis Petrakis (piano, keys, vocals) Christos Viggos (drums, vocals) Voúdris (guitar, bass, synths, vocals)— created a live soundtrack that oscillated between dream pop, hypnotic ballads, eerie electronica, and jazz motifs.

Visual & Technical Direction

The atmosphere of the night was further shaped by subtle scenographic elements designed by Jim Labraco, immersive lighting by Dimitris Koutas, and flawless sound by Dimitris Kyriakakis.
